Pre- & Post-Treatment Tips

  • Remove all jewelry, including piercings, prior to appointment. Notify your provider of any metal in the body, including IUDs for women.

  • Come to the appointment in loose, comfortable clothing.

  • Do not apply lotions or self-tanner prior to your appointment. We also recommend shaving the treatment area if necessary.

  • It’s important to stay hydrated! Be sure to drink plenty of water after your treatment.

  • You should start to see results within 2 to 4 weeks following the fully recommended treatment, and they'll keep improving for up to 3 months.

FAQs

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone is different, but most people see their best results 3 months after their 4th treatment. We recommend 4 treatments in total.
How long will my results last?

The fat burning results are permanent, but you can come back for maintenance treatments after a full 4 treatment series has been completed.
Does it hurt? Is there bruising?

You'll feel a warming sensation (like a heating pad) while also feeling pulsing, muscle contractions.
Do I need to avoid doing anything post-treatment?

Avoid extreme heat or cold and avoid exercising the treated area for 24 hours.

Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant should wait to get Botox. Individuals with neuromuscular disorders such as ALS or Lambert-Eaton syndrome are not good candidates for Botox.

During your consultation, your injector will ask you about any allergies, current medications etc. We will make sure that Botox is safe and appropriate for you.
