While both Dyport and BOTOX use botulinum toxin to smooth out wrinkles, each treatment has its benefits and preferred uses. For example,  If you’re looking for fast results, Dysport tends to deliver the quickest full results in just a few days (though BOTOX may last longer). Dysport also spreads more quickly than BOTOX, making it ideal for treating large areas such as the forehead or between the brows. Your Dysport injections will be short and sweet. First, the treatment areas will be cleansed and the injection sites will be marked. During the treatment you can expect very minimal pain with our fine needles and expert injectors.  Within a couple minutes, the injections will be finished and you can be on your way!

Typically the pain is very minimal, comparable to a light pinch. Pain is so minimal, medication is often not required. But if you have a low pain tolerance, a topical anesthetic or ice pack can help numb the target area before injection.Side effects are generally very minimal and should fade quickly. Some patients report swelling, redness, short lived headaches, or mild flu-like symptoms.

Dysport is considered a well-studied and very safe treatment in the recommended doses. Be aware that large doses can lead to serious, even life threatening side effects such as trouble with breathing. However, you can reduce your risk of serious side effects to virtually zero by choosing an experienced provider.

Starting the next day, you will notice a gradual muscle relaxing in the treated site. Full results will be apparent by 2 weeks.

In general, you can expect your Dysport results to last three to four months, before the muscle relaxing begins to fade. However, its not uncommon for results to last up to 6 months. We suggest scheduling follow-up up treatments to prolong and maintain your results.
