Pre- & Post-Treatment Tips

  • If you wear makeup to your appointment, we'll need to remove it before your treatment in order to get a clean canvas.

  • Nervous for your first time? Bring a friend! Planning a date day for your Xeomin treatment makes your experience twice as fun.

  • Be sure to have your daily workout before your treatment, since we don't recommend any exercise for 24 hours afterwards.

  • You can get right back to work after your treatment, but we recommend leaving yourself an hour of time to avoid being stressed or rushed.

  • You are not a candidate for these injections if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Avoid lying down (or doing a downward dog) for 4 hours after your procedure.

  • Avoid facials and facial muscle manipulation for two weeks following treatment.

FAQs

What Can I Expect at my treatment?

First you’ll meet with our injectors to come up with a treatment plan tailored to your beauty goals. We want to know about you, your hopes, and what you're looking to address or enhance!

Then comes the easy part. When you come in for your appointment, you injector will mark the spots for the injections. While pain is very minimal, you can avoid any kind of sensation if you would like with a topical numbing cream. In 10-20 minutes tops, the gentle, tiny needles will have done their work and you can be on your way!
Are there any side effects?

Like any medical aesthetic procedure, Xeomin has its potential quirks and temporary side effects. You might notice some temporary side effects like light bruising, a bit of redness, or tiny swelling where you got the injections. The serious stuff like infections is super rare, but it's good to be in the know. Going with an experienced injector minimizes your risk of any potential issues.

Is treatment right for me?

If you are generally healthy and struggling with dynamic wrinkles (wrinkles caused by facial movement), you are likely an ideal candidate for Xeomin! This treatment offers a non-invasive path to a refreshed look while avoiding any drastic measures. 

We will go over your medical history, current medications, and any other concerns to make sure Xeomin is the right fit. If you are pregnant, nursing, or dealing with specific neuromuscular conditions, Xeomin might not be right for you. 
Can I go back to work after treatment?

Absolutely! Xeomin treatments have little to no downtime. You could fit this in during your lunch break! However, we suggest avoiding intense exercise or lying down for the first couple hours to prevent to let the product settle and prevent spreading to unintended areas. 
When will I see results?

Don’t expect an immediate transformation, it’s more like a gradual bloom! A few days after treatment, you'll begin to see noticeably fresher and smoother skin. In about 1 to 2 weeks, you'll see the full effects. Get ready for a confidence boost!
How long will my results last?

Results should typically last for 3 to 6 months, but everyone’s a bit different. We suggest touch-up appointments to maintain your stunning results!
